Let’s disuss the Nov. 3-4 Fun Fly Event here
Hi guys, Cliff gave me a phone number and I got in touch with the Boy Scout Troupe leader. He said that the Boy Scouts will be able sell food at the funfly November 4th. If anything changes we will need to contact him and vise versa.
RATS! I just received an email from the Boy Scouts leader and he said that the Boy Scouts will NOT be able to sell food at our funfly. It seems that they do not want to jump through all the hoops that the County Health Department has established for food vendors. Everything needs to be approved with permits. Anybody have any ideas as to what we should do now?
Do we have any other options but to cook ourselves? If not we need to find somebody to do that.
I called the Health Department. I do not think that it will be a problem to meet their requirements. We were in compliance with most of what was on their list when we sold food at the previous events. We will need a permit, tarp for the floor, water jug to hold wash water and soap for hands, and a few minor other things. I probably should call the Boy Scouts leader again and tell him what I found out. Maybe they will change their minds.
Sounds good Alvin, I think the Boy Scouts will probably do it if we help with the set up
Well I got the final word from the Boy Scouts and it is a NO GO. We are on our own for any kind of food sales. What do you guys think we should do? Maybe just forget the food sales this year?
We need to talk about the march 2013 fun fly
WHO AND WHICH MEMBER IS GOING TO HEAD THE FUNFLY COMITTEE THIS YEAR! LET ME KNOW SO WE CAN START GETTING THINGS LINED UP
